We have partnered with a leading financial institution that aims to build accountability for ESG efforts formalised by the Standards Committees. Our client is looking to establish a strong APAC presence at this time and is looking to hire the incumbent to forge great relationships with Asian Investors.
This is a Director of Business Development role offering a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization that is paving the way for sustainable alternative investments.
Expectations of the role:
Develop and execute business development plans for Asia
Increase Member base by identifying and managing a pipeline of prospects
Build and manage long-term relationships with prospects and existing Members
Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new members and forecast and track key metrics
Identify and map business strengths and Member needs and translate them into business development plans
Develop an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities as well as cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
The incumbent will be expected to have:
Strong commercial capabilities and will not shy away from building a relationship with investors, asset owners and limited partners
Strong network capabilties with asset owners, private equity firms, hedge fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, etc.
